On march 15, 2019 employees of the department of phthisiology: Khojaeva M.I., Massavirov Sh.Sh. and Abdugapparov FB gave a lecture on the topic “Tuberculosis and preventive measures” at the academic lyceum at TMA. Students very actively participated in the lecture and asked their questions.

On March 12, 2019, the staff of the Department of Phthisiology together with students of the 402-group of the medical-pedagogical faculty visited the State Medical Museum of Uzbekistan. During a visit to the museum, students received information about the exhibits. The students were excited.

From February 28 to March 1, 2019, a conference was held in Tashkent with international participants on the theme “Innovation and access to treatment for drug-resistant tuberculosis.” The conference discussed new approaches to the treatment of drug-resistant tuberculosis.
